Thomas Higginson's Letter to a Young Contributor


This April 1862 article, "Letter to a Young Contributor" by Thomas Wentworth Higginson, read by both Dickinson households, prompted Emily Dickinson to initiate what would be a 23-year correspondence with Higginson.
